The Yeshua Boxing Club event on Saturday

The Yeshua Boxing Club in Keaau will be hosting a USA Boxing/LBC-sanctioned boxing event at 6 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 22PM. Boxers from the Big Island as well as other clubs from neighbor islands will be competing. The event will be held at the Yeshua Outreach Center gym located on the corner of Pohaku Circle and Pahoa Highway.

Tickets are $5 for adults and $3 for ages 11-17, with children 10 &under free. Food concessions will be provided. All proceeds go directly to the Yeshua Outreach Center, serving over 200 Puna community youth per week.

Sunrise Athletics Fun Runs on Nov. 6

Sunrise Athletics Fun Runs – Supported by BioAstin will be held Nov. 6 at Panaewa Park. The 5K and 1.5 mile run start at 8:30 a.m. while the half-mile will begin at 9:15 a.m. There will also be a rummage sale, silent auction, and inflatables.
